WHY IS GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL 1 SILENT ON AIRBUS?
Mahama quickly invited the diplomatic community to converge for purposes of showcasing to them the ills which were supervised by the Akufo-Addo administration.
Ghana’s heightened insecurity was a major concern, he told the diplomats. To the extent that he even imported into his body of evidence facts which were alien to the incidents which happened in Ayawaso, one could well discern his desperate attempts to negatively sell Ghana to the rest of the world.
It’s been a week since Airbus became topical in the international media space. It’s a week since the UK, France and the United States of America were in the news with Airbus for having paid bribes to people in order to win contracts from their respective countries.
Ghana’s name was mentioned and coded names were used to describe the principal actors in that deal.
Government Official 1 and Intermediary 5 were prominently named. As Ghanaians yearn to know the individuals behind those masked characters, we have also waited to hear from the former President what he thinks about the whole scandal.
In effect, Mahama has gone shockingly mute as regard the Airbus scandal which has implicated him and his brother, Samuel Mahama.
Ghanaians would appreciate it very much if John Mahama would invite the diplomatic community to tell them his side of the story.
His deafening silence is uncharacteristically surprising. JM is a walking hypocrisy!
