WHERE ARE MILLS’ PROJECTS? ~ AFENYO-MARKIN ASKS NDC
The Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Mark in, has questioned the opposition National Democratic Congress over its deliberate agenda to sideline former President John Evans Mills in terms of his achievements.
In a panel discussion on JoyNews/Joy FM’s news analysis show, Newsfile on Saturday, 22nd August, 2020, the Effutu MP could not fathom why the NDC has stolen all the projects Mills built for Mahama.
“The NDC should be honest and separate the projects built by Mills and those JM did. As it stands now, there appears to be no project former President John Evans Atta-Mills undertook. We ask, where are Mills’ projects?”, the legal practitioner queried.
He further urged the opposition party to mount their achievements on a website where everyone can have access to them for analysis since, in his view, the Green Book is limited to a few people who are mostly members of the NDC.
In his considered opinion, Mr. Mahama and his team are being ungrateful to the former President and his memory by stealing projects he undertook for Mahama.
The astute lawyer also wondered why the it is during the times the NDC is in power that Accra lands assume different topographical shapes warranting outrageous costs for projects.
Felix Kwakye-Ofosu, the NDC rep on the show, could not provide the needed responses as he went about talking about issues unrelated to the issues raised by the Effutu Member of Parliament.
