When the Akufo-Addo administration announced a state-of-the-art technology to help ferry essential medical supplies across the country to designated health centres, many in the opposition NDC lampooned same.
The Zipline drones have become so useful that they are playing key roles as we battle against coronavirus.
They have been deployed to send supplies to places where people have been quarantined.
When the Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia unveiled the Zipline drones for medical services, Hannah Bissiw, the National Women Organizer of the NDC, passionately appealed to Ghanaians to reject the project.
According to the veterinary doctor, the drones would be deployed to capture the nakedness of our mothers, sisters and wives while taking their baths.
She explained that the project was not only profligate but a wasteful investment because its usefulness would not commensurate with the cost involved in its procurement.
Time has made nonsense of her hollow, absurd and logically pathetic claims.
The Zipline project, one can easily state, was a worthy investment after all.
