UNPRINCIPLED KWESI PRATT DOES IT AGAIN WITH HIS HYPOCRITICAL STANCE.
He, obviously, loves the NDC to faults, and that seems to have clouded his sense of logical reasoning, loath as I am to use this expression.
On Peace FM’s Kokrokoo morning show, Mr Pratt, when invited to speak to the damning report by the EIU on Mahama’s re-election campaign, summarily dismissed the report and asked it to be stashed in a trash can.
He wondered why we should be cracking our brains over a report that cannot and does not determine which party stands the chance of winning elections in the country.
To him, the Economic Intelligence Unit has no credibility upon which to make such a judgement on Ghana’s elections.
Strangely enough, at the tail end of his delivery, he sought to paraphrase a portion of the report which he claimed said that Mahama would win the election if certain factors play roles, and even with that, he was economical with the truth as the exact wording was read out to him, dwindling his point to the sidelines.
What this means is that Kwesi Pratt discounted the portions which project the NPP to emerge victorious in the next elections but welcomes the one line which conditionally indicated that the elections could be hotly contested if certain ingredients are involved in the equation.
What favours the NPP should not be given attention but what gives a little room for his beloved NDC to make an impact must be highlighted.
I wonder why he was mad at Sammi Awuku for labelling his stance on the clampdown on Radio Gold and XYZ as unprincipled. Pratt has no principles left, and that is an irrefutable truth.
