The Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) has poured cold water on the chances of John Mahama as he seeks a comeback in 2020.
According to EIU, the Akufo-Addo-led NPP will clinch victory in the next polls, and this, from all indications, has resurrected a trait that appears to have been buried in the veins of the members of the opposition party.
This damning prediction on Mahama’s chances has induced NDC social media activists to bring out their expertise in a field far from their levels of conceptualization.
All of a sudden, these dudes have turned experts in semantics and have been given their own twisted versions and interpretations of what the international body has predicted.
The Economic Intelligence Unit, prior to the 2016 elections, predicted doom for Mahama’s NDC and very typical of them, they rubbishly relegated their predictions to the background.
To them, EIU was not a credible institution to comment on who would or wouldn’t win the 2016 elections. Mahama’s NDC, they surmised, was going to butcher Akufo-Addo’s NPP.
Though they have not generally dismissed what the report has captured, they are preoccupied with the tangential issues which the report highlighted.
Ultimately, the report concludes that His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be Ghana’s President once again and that surpasses all other items in the report.
The dilemma of a desperado is more like it.
