The Diabolic NDC Are Intellectually Dishonest And Cannot Read:
Where is their alternative manifesto for Ghanaians?
The recent stunt by the opposition NDC party is not only intellectually dishonest, but clearly demonstrate an orchestrated attempt to discredit the good works of the NPP government headed by HE Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. In 2016, the NPP set out 388 manifesto promises, some we have delivered and are still delivering (78%). Some are still spending (22%). On what grounds does the opposition NDC create 688 promises and review them on our behalf? This is insidious and diabolic in all its glory.
Clearly the NDC cannot read, and it is not surprising that, in the over 20 years they have been in charge of Ghana’s affairs resulted in stunted growth of the country, characterised recently by DUMSOR and a near collapse of the economy.
While a promise is a specific assurance to the people that leads to the achievement of an overall wider vision, the opposition NDC chooses not to fully educate themselves and to understand this difference. We see this as an attempt that makes them look very amateurish and cavalier.
We fully and vehemently condemn this act of “concert party and comedian politics” from the opposition NDC, and would like to remind Ghanaians that the NDC party is a real threat to Ghana’s democracy, and socio-economic development.
We will recall the following among others:
• In 2017, the opposition NDC tried to interfere with the issuance of government bonds. They filed failed complaints in the USA and in Luxemburg.
• The opposition NDC also claimed in 2018 that the Sinohydro deal was a loan and not a barter agreement as agreed by the government
• The opposition NDC recently falsely claimed, that the government had manufactured figures to the IMF to secure COVID 19 assistance
The NDC party including their MPs have not supported any beneficial policy introduced by the NPP government such as on Ending Dumsor, Creating a stronger economy, Free SHS, NABCO, 1V1D, 1D1F, 1C1A, Restoration of allowances for teachers and nurses, Banking sector reforms, Educational sector reforms among others.
This demonstrates clearly the opposition NDC do not have the interest of Ghanaians at heart. They simply do not care about the welfare of Ghanaians, else why would they be against such social policies? The opposition NDC only care about themselves.
The last three and a half years has provided a glimmer of hope for all Ghanaians, both at home and in the diaspora of a better future. We must not allow the opposition NDC to deceive Ghanaians and lie their way to disrupt Ghana’s development yet again.
We urge all Ghanaian to join us in condemning such actions on the part of the NDC.
