TECHIMAN: Police CID invites host of Radio Link’s *OMAN NKOMMO

The Techiman Municipal Police Command, this morning invited the host of Radio Link’s afternoon political talk show OMAN NKOMMO Kwame Boakye, on Thursday morning for questioning.

His invitation follows a comment made made on the programme by the Bono East NDC Secretary Samshudeen Ali threatening to break the leg of the Regional Minister Hon. Kofi Amoakohene.

Following the outburst, an official complaint was lodged at the police by a concerned citizen calling for the arrest of the NDC Secretary.

The police upon reciept of the report, formally launched investigation into the matter hence the invitation of Kwame Boakye.

The police are yet to make any arrest so far.

There was heightened tension in one of the polling stations in Atebubu-Amanten on Wednesday morning during the on-going voter registration exercise, following a misunderstanding between party agents of NPP and NDC which to some injuries to two NDC constituency party executives who have since been treated and discharged.

The incendent, has since led to some raised eyebrows in Atebubu-Amanten, though Hon. Amoakohene, Member of Parliament who doubles as Regional Minister as called for calm in the area.
