When an issue comes up, they jump on the bandwagon to spew their own invented and jaundiced opinions instead of taking the trouble to do an introspective analysis of the situation.
Who has said that the National Identification Authority is resuming its registration exercise in the Eastern Region tomorrow or Monday or anytime soon just because an Accra High Court has dismissed an application filed by some people to stop the NIA from continuing with its registration exercise when coronavirus is still around?
As I type, over 90% of NIA’s staff have embarked on annual compulsory leave. What this means is that there are no people in their offices to work, let alone recall field officers to pick up their equipment and head back to the field.
COVID-19 remains our topmost priority and the NIA knows this too well and would not go out there to carry out any exercise like that.
We crucify in this country before hearing the other side. The NIA is not resuming work with COVID-19 not showing signs of departing from our shores.
