SEFWI AKONTOMBRA; ACCOUNTING TO THE PEOPLE ON HEALTH

Sewhi A kontombra, under the able leadership of Hon. Alex Djornobuah Tetteh – MP and Hon. Yawson Amoah – DCE, has see massive development in the health sector from 2017 till date.

Under the leadership of these two gentlemen, work is currently ongoing for the construction of the Sefwi Yawkrom CHPS compound. This CHPS compound will serve as the source of providing primary health care to the people of Sefwi Yawkrom

Also, Construction of a CHPS compound with an ultramodern bungalow for staff is currently ongoing at Sefwi Tumuda. As the CHPS compound is serving the health needs of the People, the bungalow will also provide comfort to the staff and serve as motivation and encouragement to nurses who do not want to be posted there due to unavailability of accommodation for them.

At Sefwi Yawkrom, construction of a nurses bungalow for the Sefwi Yawkrom Health Center is currently ongoing. The DCE, poised at getting more health practitioners in his district, is putting up accommodation for the nurses so the can have comfort and a soothing environment to rest after work.

Under the leadership of the hardworking MP and DCE, construction has began for the construction of an Ultramodern Hospital at Sefwi Akontombra. This hospital will serve the people of Sefwi Akontombra and it’s neighboring communities. This will reduce the deaths recorded at Sefwi Wiawso Hospital which are mostly caused by delay in getting patients to a hospital.

The MP and DCE have also donated two ambulances to the Sefwi Akontombra and Sefwi Nsawora Health Centers. These ambulances, the first of it’s kind in the area, will convey patients who need higher health care to bigger health centers. This will drastically reduce mortality rate in the area and also reduce the death which are caused by the delay in getting people to health facilities.

These two Gentlemen are doing everything manly to make sure Sefwi Akontombra catches up with the fast growing development in other parts of the country
