PROVIDE DETAILS OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS WHO HAVE COVID-19 BUT NOT CAPTURED AND STOP DISTURBING OUR EARS
The COVID-19 Response Team has been working tirelessly to make sure that this seemingly insuperable enemy is finally defeated.
They have made sure that there is no scarcity of information about the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Information has been delivered to the general public timeously, including the number of infected persons, those who have since recovered from the virus and those we have lost, unfortunately.
We woke up to read some ex-DG of Ghana Health Service, ably supported by a sports journalist and some politicians who would wish death for this country saying that the figures being reported are far below the actual ones.
According to them, more people have contracted COVID-19, many have died and the recovery rate does not match the true account of events. In effect, the GHS and the Akufo-Addo administration have been massaging figures as far as the COVID-19 fight is concerned.
For us to appreciate what they say, would they be kind enough to tell us the number of their family members who have had the virus but have not been captured?
Could they also let us know how many of their families, friends and other loved ones who have died from COVID-19 so that we review the figures to conform to the ones they have in their heads?
What, in their estimations, are the true and accurate figures?
Until this information is made available to all of us, Prof. Badu Akorsah and his cohorts should spare us these empty profusions of theirs.
