A joint team of Police and the Military intercepted a bus full of potential registrants by Hannah Bissiw at Techimantia around 8 o’clock in the night on Sunday, 12th July, 2020.
The people who were not natives of Tano South in general and Techimantia specifically were detected by some townsfolk at the outskirts of Techimantia and alerted the Police and the Military about same.
The security personnel quickly moved in to arrest the bus and its occupants as the indigenes of Techimantia were up in arms over the infiltration of these unknown people.
When asked who brought them, the driver of the bus said Hannah Bissiw hired him to transport the people into the town for registration. He could not, however, say whether they were from Tano South or not.
It can be recalled that Hannah Bissiw and her team have been accusing the incumbent Member of Parliament, Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere of busing people into the constituency to register.
Three days ago, a section of the Bissiw squad went to a river in Tano South to rain curses on anyone who would import strangers to Tano South to Register.
They asked the deities to cause the accidents of all those who would be on such trips.
It is quite ironic that the same people who cursed the NPP leadership for such an operation are also neck deep in the same acts they accused others of engaging in.
The security personnel have promised that there will be peace and stability in the Tano South Constituency as the registration exercise continues.
