OH LALAAA!!!
ELIZABETH BOAKYE STORMS COVID – 19 ZOOM MEETING with a message for Information Minister to tell President Akuffo Addo;

To be ware of Appointing Holders Of Academic Titles Without Integrity To High Government Official Positions and urged him to respond to members of UK branch long Standing Petition.

In the just ended COVID 19 Zoom Meeting held on Saturday, 23 May 2020, a statement made by a leading member of the UK branch Council of Elders, Ms Elizabeth Boakye is reported as follows;
“Welcome Hon. Oppong Nkrumah. Congratulations to you and your team for the good work you are doing. I also congratulate Manchester Chapter for organising this COVID 19 Zoom Meeting.

NPP UK was a well established and organised branch of the NPP party in the diaspora. However, some happenings in the present adminstration has caused some division in the party causing serious apathy amongst some long standing members of the UK branch.

If it is true that Nana Addo has created a Health Promotion Job for a member of the UK branch then it would mean a slap in the face and also setting up a bad precedence to most members of the UK Npp branch, as nothing has been heard about a petition sent to Nana Akuffo Addo from some members here in the UK. When some of us in the diaspora come home with letters (Titles) like Masters, Dr. PHD and others in front of our names that should not throw dust into the eyes of those of you at home with all RESPECT. If INTEGRITY is not attached to holders of those Titles, and they are given top jobs, the Cost to the country in the long term Will be worse than any benefit gained.

I have personally been pleading with some people here in the UK who are telephoning members of their family not to vote for NPP because the party is Corrupt. As you maybe aware people at home listen to us overseas due to our remittances to them.

I am therefore respectfully pleading with you, honourable Minister, to remind Nana Addo Not To Ignore the petition from the UK. Otherwise, if matters in UK branch appear in the National News Papers no one should be blamed, as it will only be because we voted for Change in Ghana, and again because of the love we have for the Npp party.
Thank you.”
