Asante Kotoko SC have confirmed their participation in the upcoming 2020/2021 CAF Champions League competition.
This follows after Kotoko received received a letter from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for Kumasi based club to take decision to compete in the CAF Champions League.
According to the GFA, Kotoko have declared to participate in the competition in a letter signed by the CEO of the club, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
The club will go through the mandatory club licensing processes laid down by GFA and CAF ahead of the CAF Champions League competition yet to commence.
The Porcupine Warriors represented Ghana in the same competition in the 2019/2020 season and have been given the chance to compete again, following the cancellation of the 2019/2020 domestic football season.
Asante Kotoko played in the CAF Champions League last year after winning the NC Tier One competition.
Meanwhile Ashanti Gold SC who won the NC Tier Two Competition has already confirmed participate in the CAF Confederation Cup.
