NDC’s COVID-19 Response Team Died Before It Was Established
When the NDC’s COVID-19 Response Team breezed into town with a billowing exterior, many a Ghanaian was confident that the group would live up to expectations.
With the likes of Grace Ayensu-Danquah, Alex Segbefia, Kwabena Mintah-Akandoh and other professors and medical experts, hope creased the brows of many Ghanaians.
It didn’t take a few weeks for the paucity in terms of ideas of the group became too apparent. The group fizzled out even before the 2020 elections were held.
Delta, a variant of the deadly coronavirus pandemic made its way into the system and many hoped the COVID-19 Response Team would be resurrected. They remained dead.
The Omicron version of the deadly virus makes an unsolicited visit and the Mahama COVID-19 Response Team has still kept quiet over it.
The sad reality is that, the so-called expert in health related matters who made the cut are as incompetent as the man who hurriedly put them together.
The expertise they are claimed to have in abundance does not exist. It exists only in the minds of John Mahama and his assigns. The COVID-19 Response Team of the NDC died long before it was birthed.
