NAANA OPOKU AGYEMANG SHOOTS HERSELF AND THE NDC IN THE FOOT
Coming events, according to the axiom, cast their own shadows.
First of all, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has written to UCC to renew her contract as a lecturer at the university.
Tongues are wagging questioning the rationale behind seeking an extension of her contract with the university.
It would be impossible to continue teaching if the NDC wins the 2020 elections. Does this mean that she knows for a fact that the NDC will not win and is seeking to consolidate her hold on the job so that she immerses herself into the job of lecturing?
This loudly indicates that Naana Opoku Agyemang knows, deep in the dusty recesses of her mind that the NDC is losing the upcoming elections.
The premonition that John Dramani Mahama is being kept on the opposition bench with his party is visibly displayed in her desperate attempts to have her contract renewed.
She collected her August and September monthly salaries even though she did not teach in those two months.
The party’s running mate has been on the campaign trail over the past few months and has been crisscrossing the entire country with no time to lecture.
Interestingly enough, under her tenure as Minister of Education, Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang starved teachers for two or more years as she wouldn’t pay them. If she did, out of the 24 or 36 months of teaching, she paid teachers just three months of their arrears.
Now, though she hasn’t worked for months, she has taken her salaries. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang comes across as a hypocritical perfectionist.
