‘MY VISION IS TO MAKE MFANTSEMAN A SAFE SEAT FOR THE NPP’
THE New Patriotic Party (NPP) member of Parliament and parliamentary candidate for Mfantseman, Hon. Ekow Kwansa Hayford has promised to make the mfantseman seat a safe one for the NPP in the nearest future.
Hon. Kwansa Hayford made the promise when the Central Regional Minister Hon. Kwamena Duncan, inaugurated the constituency’s campaign team in Saltpond on Saturday, 29th August, 2020.
He, therefore, urged all party members to eschew every form of bitterness and work very hard to win more votes for the party at the December polls.
Under the chairmanship of Hon. Ekow Kwansa Hayford, other members of the campaign team include former member of Parliament for the constituency and DG of SIGA Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon Kenneth Kelly Essuman, Mr James Korsah Brown (a PC aspirant in the last parliamentary primaries), the constituency chairman Alhaji Gibrine Adams and his executives as well as other party members.
For his part, Hon Asabee as he is popularly called, promised to work hard as a member of the campaign team to make history by making the npp win the parliamentary seat for the second time..
Addressing the party faithfuls, Alhaji Gibrine Adams stated that the party had projected to garner over 7,000 and 10,000 votes difference in the parliamentary and presidential votes respectively in the constituency and urged the team members to work together and very hard to make the projection a reality.
Hon. Kwamena Duncan indicated that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the campaign team would have to change the mode of campaigning by not organising large rallies but visiting voters in towns, communities, churches, mosques, market places, offices, rooms and workplaces to canvass for votes.
He further urged the campaign team and most especially electoral area coordinators to explain government policies and programmes to the electorate to convince them to vote for the party.
Mr James Korsah Brown who promised to be available to campaign for the party as he’s done in the past, called on all party members to put their hands on deck to ensure a resounding victory for the NPP by working hard for the re-election of President Akufo-Addo and also the member of parliament to change the fortunes of the constituency.
