MR PRESIDENT, PLEASE CONSIDER HON. FRANCISCA OTENG MENSAH FOR MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT IN YOUR NEXT GOVERNMENT – KWABRE YOUTH MOVEMENT
Your Excellency, we the youth of Kwabre join you in thanking the good people of Ghana, for once again reposing their confidence in you for another four years. We also take this opportunity to congratulate you for winning again. Indeed the Ghanaian people showed through the ballot that we are happy with your humans centred policies that are aimed at improving the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian.
We, the youth of Kwabre are happy that we contributed to this victory by voting massively for you, Mr President and our Member of Parliament, Hon Francisca Oteng Mensah. What excites us the most is that, we’re learning that our constituency, Kwabre East has reaffirmed our status as the new world bank of our party(NPP). We gave our party the highest votes in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
We also want to use this medium to show our appreciation to you, Mr President, for honouring and allowing some of our kinsmen to serve in your previous government. Notable ones include The Late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, former CEO of Forestry Commission, Hon. Kofi Frimpong, CEO of Social Investment Fund, Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah, Board Chairperson of National Youth Authority.
Your Excellency, we are very grateful for the honour, but like the proverbial Oliver Twist, we ask for more. We think this is the right time to honour Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah with a ministerial appointment. Hon. Francisca has distinguished herself since entering the 7th Parliament of the fourth republic. She has been a champion for youth policies and role model to many young people especially women. Being the youngest MP she has taken her time to learn on the job.
Her contribution to the party cannot be overlooked. In two successive elections, she has turned Kwabre east into the new world bank of our party. It wouldn’t be out of place if such an individual is honoured. We believe this is not too much to ask and Mr President would respond positively to our response.
Long Live Ghana
Long Live NPP.
