MANKRANSO WENT GRIDLOCK AS MP CUT SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ULTRAMODERN NPP PARTY OFFICE
Mankranso, the capital of Ahafo Ano South West Constituency in the Ashanti Region went agog on Tuesday the 25th day of February 2020 as thousands of the ruling New Patriotic Party faithfuls troop in to witness the sod cutting to commence the construction of a multi purpose much awaiting party office by their MP Hon Johnson Kwaku Adu who is affectionately described by his constituency as AFFABLE, FRIENDLY ANS ACCESSIBLE legislature, the principal street’s of the town was dominated by the colours Blue, White and Red with the elephant 🐘 flying high resembling a victory 2020 for the president of the land his excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo and the member of parliament Hon. Johnson Kwaku Adu as both the youth and the aged mostly party executives kept chanting a victory song for their MP.
Vehicular movement’s became slow whiles other activities was standstills as a results of the thick human traffic on the streets of Mankranso kept increasing by hour’s, the chairwoman of the party in the constituency Mr. Yaw Donkor lead the team to the site for the sod cutting to commence the project, delivering his speech, Hon. Johnson Kwaku retaliated his commitment towards the development of the party and the party faithfuls in the constituency.
“Since 2004 that I became a Deputy Secretary of the party in the constituency till date I have always insisted we have a secretariat the records can properly be kept there , i have never be comfortable when party faithfuls who have traveled afar to the district capital finds it difficult to have a place to rest, this office will serve all purpose including others, the site plan is ready, the contractor is here and in no time you will witness a party office “ he mentioned.
The MP also seized the opportunity to acknowledge his predecessors for also dreaming of same project .
“The project since 1992 was on the consideration table and thank God the dream of our forefathers has come to pass , we own this projects and we must ensure that it’s properly executed, over five hundred thousand cedis is expected to complete this project and we must ensure we get value for money “ he added .
The crowd kept chanting in joy for seeing the much awaited office commenced .
