MAHAMA’S INSENSITIVITY; DOTSEI MALOR FORCED TO PULL DOWN HIS POST ON SAMMY GYAMFI’S FAUX PAS
Ben Dotsei Malor, the communications expert extraordinaire, though might have had a turbulent spell being Mahama’s advisor during the reign of the NDC, he appeared to be principled.
Though a member of the NDC, Mr. Malor has, oftentimes, criticized certain things even in his own party. That trait appears to have vanished into thin air with respect to that highly insensitive post made by Sammy Gyamfi.
In a Facebook post on his timeline, Ben Dotsei Malor asked if Sammy Gyamfi had rendered an unqualified apology to President Akufo-Addo, the EC Chairperson and Ghanaians in general for seeking to equate happenings in the country to that cruelty George Floyd suffered in the hands of a white police officer.
No sooner had Mr. Dotsei Malor penned his beautiful post than he was impressed upon to pull same down.
One is inclined to believe that as at the time Dotsei Malor was writing his post asking whether Sammy Gyamfi had apologized or not, he was obviously oblivious to John Mahama’s rather unfortunate, callous, irresponsible and highly insensitive post that aggravates the traumatic experience blacks across the globe are feeling.
Folks, Ben Dotsei Malor has pulled his post down. He lacks principles just like his former boss. Maybe the decision to pull down the post stems from a promise of an appointment in the unlikely event that Mahama becomes president again.
Perhaps, for once, I nursed the idea that an apple can fall a bit far away from the tree, but I was wrong. Dotsei Malor has been coerced to pull down a post that makes nonsense of Mahama’s post on his Facebook page.
