MAHAMA; A HARBINGER OF DOOM WHO SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED BY GHANAIANS AS PRESIDENT AGAIN
The flagbearer of the opposition NDC has made a submission I find very sinuous if not ironic.
At their campaign launch in Sefwi Wiawso, the Incompetent One said that Ghana is doomed if the NPP is retained in power.
He said that Ghana would experience real transformation if he is elected in the 2020 elections.
This statement from Mahama is not only in sync with the realities on the ground but also departs from his abysmal handling of affairs when he was president.
Apart from Mahama suffering from delusions of competence, he also seems to have forgotten that we experienced his exceptional incompetence for eight years as vice president and president.
For someone who lays claim to having the magical powers to turn things around, he ran the economy into a dungeon.
Under him, interest rates, inflation and all the other economic indicators were in the red. The hardships experienced under him were unbearable.
Dumsor ravaged the entire country, killing businesses and suffocating the populace.
The banking sector was run aground, affecting more than 4 million depositors in the country. The Akufo-Addo administration has worked tirelessly to fix this mess he created.
Dumsor is a relic of the distant past due to the prudent management of the sector.
John Mahama was so incompetent that he messed up everything to the extent that he had to run to the IMF to hand over the keys to the management of the economy to the international financial body.
Unemployment tormented the youth of the country to the extent that it led to the formation of the infamous Graduates Unemployed Association.
The level of despondency across the country was phenomenally unprecedented. All these happened under Mahama, the person who now goes about proclaiming that he is God’s only gift to Ghanaians.
At this material moment, it is safer to conclude that John Dramani Mahama is a harbinger of doom and ought not to be given any attention by Ghanaians.
