Asante Kotoko SC have hired the services of Ashford Tetteh- Oku in their quest to get their transfer kitty from the transfer of Kwame Bonsu to Tunisian side Esperance Du Tunis.
Reports reaching 442gh.com confirmed that Asante Kotoko SC have landed a services of the globally revered legal brain to help them recover the transfer fee involved in the sale of Kwame Bonsu to the North African powerhouse.
Several attempts by Asante Kotoko SC to secure the amount from Esperance have since proven futile in recent months.
This has prompted management of Asante Kotoko SC to run to the legal fraternity in search of a redeemer at the hands of their North African rivals.
He is expected to use his experience and wide range of contacts amassed over the years to push Kotoko’s case for fairness and equity on the negotiation table.
Kwame Bonsu, 24, joined the three-time African champions in a reported four-year deal, replacing Ivorian Franck Kom who has moved on to Qatari side Al-Rayyan SC.
Known as Conte on the field of play, Kwame Bonsu starred for Asante Kotoko SC in his short spell with the club before the trip to North Africa.
