Reports in the media divulge that, the 23-year old midfield sensation has landed in Kumasi to undergo Asante Kotoko medicals at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital today.
It is reported that the Black Stars ‘B’ idfielder will put pen to paper on a three-year deal for Asante Kotoko after a successful medicals.
Latif Anabila has been a long transfer target for Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu following his spectacular performance at AshantiGold SC.
He is considered as one of the best midfielders in the country having proved himself at New Edubiase and AshantiGold Sporting Club.
He will be joining the rest of Asante Kotoko players in Koforidua in the Eastern Region for the preseason activities after signing for the club.
Anabila is currently a free agent after his contract with AshantiGold Sporting Club came to end after the truncation of the 2019/20 league season.
He capped thirteen matches for AshantiGold Sporting Club in the truncated 2019/20 league season.
Abdul Latif Anabila was an integral member of the Black Stars ‘B’ squad that finished second in the 2019 WAFU Cup in Senegal.
