Kennedy Agyapong Donates 150,000 PPEs to Jubilee House.
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central and group chairman for Kencity Media, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has donated one hundred and fifty pieces of Personal Protection Equipments (PPEs) – Nose Mask and ten pieces of sample test for the staff and workers at the Jubilee House to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
At a brief presentation ceremony at the jubilee house today, the Assin Central MP said, the donation was his widow’s mite to help fight the deadly virus that is gradually swallowing our country.
He lamented over how some section of Ghanaians are not taking the personal protection against the virus seriously, stressing that government should consider a close down of markets if people continue to flout the restrictions and it rules.
He said “We started from two and now see where we are, over thousand cases and people still take it for granted , government must shut down all the major markets to prevent more people from spreading it”
The Assin Central MP further called on the media to continuously educate Ghanaians on the need to take up the restrictions and regulations serious.
Adding that Ghanaians must be conscious the right usage of the nose mask to avoid further spread of the virus.
This is the third of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s donation since the advent of the corona virus pandemic.
He initially donated some PPEs to the Ghana Health Service, then the National Security and the third donation to Ghana’s Jubilee House.
The Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare, who received the items thanked Kennedy Agyapong for been among the first individuals to donate to the Presidency since COVID -19 befell Ghana.
She also used the opportunity to call on all to be careful and stay on guard.
