Ghana Premier League side, Karela United have expressed interest and written to Asante Kotoko for the services of their striker Richard Arthur, sportsnetgh.com is informed.
Karela United have been struggling with relegation in the 2019/2020 season after 15 matches where they have bagged in a meagre 11 points and are 17th on the league log.
This has seen their head coach Enos Kwame Adepa resigning from his position as the head of the technical team of the club.
The former Premier League winner with Wa All Stars stated in his resignation letter that, Karela United lacked quality players of the Premier League standard which is the reason the team is struggling in the league.
The team has started reinvigorating the squad with quality players and have turned attention to Asante Kotoko to take away their striker, Richard Arthur who has been down the pecking order at the club.
With enough attacking options at Asante Kotoko, striker Richard Arthur is expected to accept the move to Karela United where he could be guaranteed much playing time.
Karela United have in their folds Diawise Taylor as the only renowned striker in the team and with Richard Arthur available, Karela United could record more goals to add to their paltry ten goals scored.
