John Mahama, on his needless thank you tour, appears to be pained by the fact that President Akufo-Addo is building 111 hospitals, the biggest health infrastructure of its kind in our history.
The idea and the implementation of same have plunged the failed presidential candidate of the opposition NDC for the 2020 elections into nightmares.
He waffled on for minutes without making any headway with his position on the matter apart from trying to demean the projects with his ‘they have abandoned my hospital projects’ mantra.
First of all, John Mahama never initiated any hospital projects which he completed. Most of the hospital projects he boasts about were those begun by his predecessors and for the number of years he led the country, he couldn’t complete any of them.
It is important to emphasize that Mr. Mahama sees these Agenda 111 hospitals as game changers that would keep him in opposition for another period since they outbox the ones he has been babbling about.
For someone who was so keen on abandoning projects of his predecessors to be complaining about same when his complaints are even groundless, one can only that he is suffering from some sort of an irreducible hernia.
It is his fervent prayer that these 111 hospital projects never see the light of the day as that could enhance his chances of becoming president once again. His prayers will fail to garner support from God.
