IT IS COMEDIC TO HEAR THE MEARLY-MOUTHED MAHAMA, CALL FOR A PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE……………..APJ
“A presidential candidate launch his campaign; he said this election is about comparison of records. That’s a recipe for mediocrity. The fact that, the government before you built 20 hospitals and you built 23; Makes you happy that, you’ve performed better than the government that preceded you, it’s a recipe for mediocrity………John Mahama, May 7th 2008, Ghanaweb.
Once in a while, one is compelled to resurrect some statements from the archives to support arguments of national interest and Action Patriots for Justice(APJ) believes that , the above quote made by the former president, John Dramani Mahama is a typical example with respect to the issues raised in this press release.
Calling for a debate is an intellectual excercise that helps our political discourse, especially, a presidential one as such but the level reduces when the one calling for it is a flip-flop, and purveyor of incompetence.
This debate will probably be between the GREEN BOOK of the former president John Dramani Mahama with questionable contents, ten(10) percent massage realities and 90 percent phantasmagorical images, as against the credible, undisputed DELIVERY TRACKER of the Nana Addo-Bawumia led government.
Is it not a conman”s propagandist tactics or an attempt to redeem an already lost credibility in the eyes of the electorate, that a man whose government constructed a single inter-change (Nkrumah circle) but the cost is equal to the cost of four(4) inter-changes this government is currently constructing, yet, JM is calling for a debate on infrastructure, Knowing very well that, verbally throwing it out there in the public domain will not trigger any debate, because, government does not organise presidential debates and former president Mahama knows that but deliberately saying it for mischievous and populist purposes.
Analytically, will a man who promised to build two hundred community day secondary Schools but ended up building 46 out of the 200, have a leg to stand on, in such debate
Let the NDC show us a single hospital JM built with their own funds, completed, and commissioned before losing the 2016 election.
Again, if the above quote was the position of JDM yesterday, what has changed? This is an attempt to play on the minds of the people and gradually hoodwink discerning minds for sympathy votes.
This is not the time to be deceived into thinking that, there is anything good left in the incompetent nature of John Mahama. The competent political kahuna of our time, his excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo deserves 4more to do more, for mother Ghana.
The battle still remains the Lords
