“I’m not quitting NPP today nor tomorrow” – Isaac Osei


Former Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), Isaac Osei has categorically refuted news report that suggests, he is going to contest President Akufo-Addo for the New Patriotic Partt (NPP) flagbearership for the 2020 general elections.

There have been some report that he is preparing to challenge the President Nana Akufo Addo in the NPP’s presidential election.
It was also alleged that he is going to form his party if he failed to contest Nana Akufo Addo.

He reportedly made his political ambitions known to some close confidantes during a meeting, which has allegedly been made available to some media outlets.

Speaking to Kessben Breaking News and monitored by TVNEWSGH.COM Hon. Isaac Osei who was the former MP for Sub in appealed to the good people of Ghana to to treat report with all contempt it deserves.

He also discounted the claims says he has not had any ambition or so ever.

“I have full confidence in President Akufo Addo. I know he is going to win this year’s elections and I will not be a contestant of upcoming NPP presidential primaries. How do I contest the leader of great party? ”

The report also said, the former MP for Subin in the Ashanti Region, may break away from the NPP and form his own party should he lose the presidential primaries.

Mr. Osei described claims as untrue and urged Ghanaians not to give a listening ears to them.

He noted that he has been with the party since 1992 up to date and believes in the firm principle of NPP.

Former MD of TOR added that he is not going to stop and will never quit the party to form new one or joining any political party.
