IF WE HAD REPRIMANDED COLLINS DAUDA, BANDA MAY NOT HAVE HAPPENED.
In a country where masterminds of violence are idolized and the heinous acts they perpetrate on innocent civilians are idealized, the promulgation of laws towards the curbing of violence would not yield any substantial dividends.
My brother and friend, Eric Adjei, the Bono Regional Deputy Communications Officer was on Neat FM this morning chastising the NPP and blaming President Akufo-Addo for the death of a young man in the Banda Constituency as a result of the registration exercise.
Akufo-Addo is not to blame for what happened. His accusation is absurd much as it is unfounded.
Collins Dauda has been maiming people in Asutifi South. He has been killing people, according to his brother and nothing has been done to him.
It is regrettable to lose a life in Banda but that’s the very dose of medicine Collins Dauda has been serving innocent souls in his Constituency.
I see no justification for the young man in Banda to lose his life. It was gruesome and barbaric. Those behind the act should be dealt with per the laws of the land.
Notwithstanding this, Eric Adjei and his people should know that this is what Collins Dauda, Eric Opoku and in recent times, Hannah Bissiw have been subjecting innocent people to.
We should condemn such uncivilized and bloodthirsty acts which send innocent people down the aisle of premature death.
Let me conclude by stating that the young man didn’t deserve to die because of this and all those who have suffered in the hands of Dauda, Opoku and Bissiw didn’t deserve such treatments.
