HON ASABEE TOURED KWESIMINTSIM WITH PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE, DR PRINCE ARMAH
This year’s elections has taken a different tone due to covid-19 pandemic and hence political activities and campaign has also taken a different dimension altogether. Yesterday the good people of Kwesimintsim witnessed an electoral area engagement.
The team led by Hon Asamoah Boateng with the parliamentary candidate Dr Prince Armah yesterday shook Kwesimintsim constituency to rekindle the party for the December 7 polls. The team first paid a courtesy call on Chief of Kwesimintsim to ask for his blessings and permission in order to engage his people.
From the chief’s palace the team took the engagement to the following areas ie Kwesimintsim proper, Sabon Zongo and finally ended at Apramdo.

The Western Region Women’s Organizer Hon Abena Kwallah few minutes to engage the party supporters to unite and hold firmed to the party. She also entreated them to vote massively for Dr Prince Armah and Nana Addo come December 7, for she was very optimistic that Dr Prince Armah will be in parliament come 2021. Hon Abena Kwallah added that, Kwesimintsim has done it before and this time it’s going to be massive. She concluded by adding that, no more Skirt and blouse voting in Kwesimintsim, it’s forward ever for Dr Prince Armah and the NPP.
When it got to the turn of Regional organizer, Mr Abdul Ganiyu Mohammed aka the Bulldozer the euphoria changed, Mr Ganiyu stated that, no more skirt and blouse politics in Kwesimintsim because Dr Prince Armah has proven to be effective and efficient leader under this current administration. He sees Dr Armah’s candidature as one of the best for the job therefore, he appealed to all and sundry to come onboard for victory 2020 for Dr Prince Armah and if this would be achieved we need a united front to make the vision materialized.
As soon as the parliamentary candidate name was mentioned the atmosphere became charged and the euphoria was phenomenal at Kwesimintsim.
Dr Prince Armah took the microphone and reiterated his commitment to serving the good people of Kwesimintsim. He pledged his unflinching support to his constituents urged them to intensified the house to house campaign to increase the votes for the president and make him the MP for the area. He also thanked the party supporters for the opportunity given him to serve them.
Message from the Guest; Hon Asamoah Boateng
Hon Asamoah Boateng, the veteran politician who served under Kufuour’s government in many areas like, he was the former Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Environment, Tourism and Diaspora Relations. He occupied the Ministry of information and National Orientation as well as the former chief Executive officer of State Enterprise committee. Hon Asabee is currently the Director General of the State Interest and Governance Authority (SIGA)
And accordingly Hon Asamoah Boateng, he was so categorical that; he is not a stranger in Kwesimintsim. He has involved himself in the then Effia-Kwesimintsim party politics for quite some time now. He added that the president’s eye is on Kwesimintsim because constituency has been loyal and faithful to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and as such he sees Dr Prince Armah as the right person to represent them in the next government of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Hon Asabee added that, the NPP must quadruple the votes in Kwesimintsim constituency and the agenda must start from today.
In his concluding remarks, the veteran politician said, he sees Dr Prince Armah as a great asset for the party and has the competence to deliver for his people. He entreated all party supporters to throw their weight behind him to succeed in his questions to lead Kwesimintsim in parliament come 2021.
