HON. ALEX MARTEY, THE NPP PARLIAMENTARY CANDIDATE FOR NINGO PRAMPRAM CONSTITUENCY DONATED TWENTY TWO (22) SEWING MACHINES TO PRAMPRAM SENIOR HIGH AND NINGO SENIOR HIGH TECHNICAL SCHOOL
On Thursday, 6th August, 2020. Hon Alex Martey, the incoming member of parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency together with the DCE for Ningo Prampram Hon. Jonathan Teye Doku, the constituency executives led by the able chairman Hon. Michael Tetteh Eku, former constituency executives, former Greater Accra regional chairman of NPP Hon. Alfred Boi, the Queen mothers of both Prampram and Ningo traditional council, Headmasters of Prampram Senior high school and Ningo Secondary Technical School and NPP sympathizers including our own Loyal Ladies were at the for court of Ningo Prampram District Assembly to present twenty two sewing machines to the two Senior high schools in the constituency. Each school received ten hand sewing machines and one industrial sewing machine each.
These donations were made to the schools when the Headmasters of the two schools made a request to Hon. Alex Martey to come to their aid in support of sewing machines for the students especially, to the final year students who are currently writing their WASSCE examination. This will help the textile and clothing candidates in their practical section of the WASSCE examination which is ongoing currently.
Hon. Alex Martey, used the occasion to thanked the Headmasters of the two schools for reaching out to him when the schools were in need of such important equipments for academic training and learning. According to him, he felt touched when the request were made to him. Quickly, he mobilized resources in honour of the request and today here we are to received the donations.
The president of the republic has done a lot of work in the educational sector by supplying adequate logistics to Senior high schools in Ghana. And he as the proud son of Ningo Prampram, owns it a duty to augment the work of the president and that is why today, you are here to witness my widows might to my brothers and sisters in the senior high schools in the constituency Hon. Alex Martey said it.
As the incoming member of parliament for Ningo Prampram, he touched on the achievements of the president and asked the people to vote for him and the NPP come December 7, 2020. He also, called on the students to remember him during the voting day. He told, the gathering that, “this is just the beginning and they should imagine if he becomes the member of parliament, a lot of what they are seeing today will be in multiples, across the constituency when voted into power as the Member of Parliament for the constituency”.
The DCE, Hon. Jonathan Teye Doku said, the NPP party in government is a promise fulfill Political party therefore, he appealed to the people of Ningo Prampram that, this year they should vote for Alex Martey and the president of the republic to continue his good work which Ningo Prampram benefits as it stands now, from the NPP government and used the sea defense project which is ongoing at Old Ningo as an example.
