Ghana Premier League heavyweight Accra Hearts of Oak have officially made an approach for enterprising Asikwa Deportivo Winger Emmanuel Osei, FootballMadeinGhana.com can reveal.
Osei has been in excellent form for the Division One League outfit this season, with the club’s main high point being beating Kumasi Asante Kotoko to eliminate them from the MTN FA Cup.
Reports gathered by FootballMadeinGhana indicate that Hearts of Oak have written to enquire about the player’s availability and if possible permission to engage him in transfer talks.
General Manager of Asokwa Deportivo, Sometimer Otuo Acheampong has confirmed this development and gone on to further reveal that the club is yet to take a decision in this regard.
“Hearts of Oak has written to us enquiring about Emmanuel Osei, we have acknowledged receipt and management will meet on that to take a decision” he told Kumasi based Oyerepa FM.
Hearts of Oak are keen on boosting their squad as they chase the Ghana Premier League title for the first time in over 5 years. They have also been linked with a move for Inter Allies goal machine Vitorien Adebayor.
