A leopard can hardly change the spots which form part of its body.

Hannah Bissiw, the National Women’s Organizer of the opposition NDC made a mess of herself yesterday when the party went to elect its regional officers in Goaso.

She would indulge herself in one brawl after the other, making many a party faithful question her competence in handling the women’s wing.

To the extent that some delegates from the other constituencies took her to the cleaners, totally disregarding the office she occupies, one could not help but wonder how she could ride to one of the topmost positions in the party.

Three aspirants from her own constituency, Tano South, were mercilessly dealt with in terms of the number of votes they had.

Some attribute their dismal performance to her insolent behaviour, many still hold the view that the mother of all the women in the NDC does not have the wherewithal to occupy such a sensitive position.

To many who may be naive in politics, Hannah Bissiw has some clout worth noting, but to the pundits in the game, she is but a paperweight who wormed herself to the top arrogating some level of importance to herself.

Hannah Bissiw, I would reiterate, is the weakest women’s organizer to have been elected by the NDC.

Even her own backyard, Ahafo Region, judging from the results aspirants from her own constituency garnered, is indicative of the fact that she is of little importance.

The unvarnished truth is that, Bissiw has no influence even in her own Ahafo Region, let alone the country in its entirety.
