God is Able to Silence Your Enemies So Do not be Afraid – Oh Mr President & Kumawuhene

In everything that we do, in every situation in which we find ourselves in any point in time, whether good or calamitous, the bible advises us to give glory and thanks to God. God’s ways are mysterious, and are not man’s ways. They are at times harder to be understood by human beings, as harder as we try to comprehend them hence the conclusion, man proposes and God disposes.

However, as difficult as human beings are, we always try to understand God in our own limited ways. We often try to restrict Him to our own parochial self-interest or views. If things don’t go our way according as expected at a critical time, we draw the conclusion that God is not on our side, or He has abandoned us. No, that is not the case. God has a reason for not granting our request when we as human beings and in our own reasoning, dire as it may be, need it. Therefore, like true love that is hard to find, why don’t we keep searching until we come to understand God’s ways to stop drawing our own erroneous conclusions? With this, let us pause to find solace and succour, and much understanding, from Bongos Ikwue & The Groovies song called, “Still Searching”

To cite a classical example, I well understand from prophecies that God has His hands in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute in favour of Mr John Kwasi Oduro, now Kumawuhene Barima Tweneboa Kodua V. All unfolding events since the chieftaincy disputation started following the demise of the late Kumawuhene Barima Asumadu Sakyi II, in June 2007, indicate God’s mighty presence in the case. Nonetheless, as difficult as human beings are, and always pursuing our own heart desires, some people who think in their mind’s eye to be omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, and can let things happen or break, are obstinately, maliciously resisting God. They are not seeing the sense in the unfolding events contrary to their wishful pursuits.

Man, who is like the morning dew that dissipates with the rising Sun, thinks they can bend God, as if He were fate, to suit them without allowing Him to have His own course. This instance has amply been manifested in the ongoing Kumawuman chieftaincy dispute but God being God, is steadfastly holding His ground hence the secret machinations by the supposedly traditional overlords and their cohorts always being exposed in the public domain and coming to naught.

Although when the going gets tough the tough get going, let us always seek the face of God to strengthen our resolves to become tougher. Let us do what we have to do but at the same time relying principally on God to redirect our steps. In so doing, could we find any bit of sense in Sonny Okosun’s song called “Help”?

Sonny Okosun- Help

Many a time, the enemies may seek your downfall and/or death. In Ghana, it is an indisputable fact that one’s enemies are always on the move seeking to destroy him/her as verily said in 1 Peter 5:8, thus, “Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour”.   How many times, have the rivals of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, not said many untruths and half-truths about him? How many times have his enemies not wished him dead and made false allegations about his failing health? How many times have the enemies of Kumawuhene Barima Tweneboa Kodua V not attempted to extinguish his life, by resorting to spiritual and physical means? How many times have they not spread rumours about him that he has gone blind, gone totally disabled and restricted to bed or been bedridden? As I write, there is a rumour bandying about in Kumawuman, orchestrated by both the enemies within his own Ananangya royal family and the camp of his supposedly traditional overlords; myopic, malicious and insatiably greedy as they are, that he is completely gone blind and disabled. What a dirty tactic, the trait of the Ghanaian enemy! By the grace of God, having His mighty hand on him, he is as fit as a fiddle.

Anyone who is malevolently being treated by their enemies, please look unto the Lord as the psalmist says in Psalm 23, to always entrust yourself into the hands of God, your Creator. For in the end, victory shall be yours, regardless of how scary the problems you are going through at the moment may appear. As you pray, do not sit on your backside but go out to seek solutions to the problems confronting you. Let the Lord be your shield against the enemies that are baring their teeth at you. Subsequently, do agree with the lyrics of the song “Jesus Keepeth My Soul — The Youth”

Jesus Keepeth My Soul — The Youth

To everyone who is unjustly being treated by whomever, continue relentlessly to fight for your right by both relying on God and doing whatever you should physically do as a rational human being. Never feel dejected, saying, what can I do as a Mr/Mrs/Miss Nobody as I am? Before God, you are a precious pearl, a Mr/Mrs/Miss Somebody!

Shame on our enemies, bullies, irrational beings and malicious entities. Those that you hate with passion and desperately seek their death/downfall shall live and prosper, by the grace of God Almighty! Amen and Amen!

May God bless the management of Modernghana.com, SourcesradioTv.com and Ghanaweb for helping me share my views with the worldwide reading public. Without them and the social media outlets like Facebook and WhatsApp, I will have had it more difficult disseminating my views which are of benefit to the public should such views be embraced in toto by those to whom they may concern.
