Despite his allegiance to Germany, the former Manchester City star reveals visiting his native country has been a life-time experience.
The defender played against Ghana at the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and Brazil respectively.
I’ve been there in Dec 2018 – Best experience! I feel like home there, the people are incredibly friendly and I will definitely come again. Also got family over there yes https://twitter.com/elivate_/status/1239916666957463558 …
