Kotoko to land a new kit deal and end their current partnership with Strike.
The Porcupine Warriors have had their strip manufactured by strike since November 2018 in a deal which saw the Club amassing GHS130,000 during the kits unveiling.
The strike 3-year deal was sealed by management of Asante Kotoko and STRIKE representatives which was reported to earn the Club some millions of Ghana cedis.
The NC Tier 1 champions are not happy with transactions with Strike and that has preempted the new deal which is set to earn the Club much more than strike in financial terms.
Ghanapremierleagueupdates.com (@GHPLUpdates) understand that, the Ghana premier league giants will terminate their partnership with the Portuguese company after 12 months of engagement.
The reports revealed that the Kumasi based Club received a proposal from the new kits company on the first week of November 2019.
The Club replied on the next day and requested for samples from the manufacturer for analysis.
The Kumasi based team has however shown a substantial interest after management meeting and have agreed terms with the manufacturer after receiving samples of the kits designed by the THB kits manufacturer.
The new deal comes into effect from next season.
Understandably, there’s a lot of excitement around the club at the deal and fans of Kotoko will be eager to see what next season’s kit will look like.
