Dr Prince Hamid Armah, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Kwesimintsim writes:
I entered this race be cause I believed strongly in Kwesimintsim, in our party and our great potential to make a difference in the lives of people. We succeeded because you also believed in the vision and the capacity I have to deliver. For that, I thank you.
I want to thank all those who supported me and made this victory possible with their hard work, dedication and passion. You poured every bit of yourselves into this campaign because you knew that Kwesimintsim can do better. And I promise you, we will do better.
I thank Honourable Joseph Mensah and his supporters for the keen contest. Competition in a democracy is unavoidable but our purpose is the same, our destiny linked. I need your support too and I will work to earn it. Our mission will succeed if we work together. And we must.
Above all, I urge you to join me in thanking God, who orders all our affairs and knew this moment would come even before any of us was born. Please keep me in your prayers. I cannot do this alone. We cannot do it without God.
The primary campaign is now over and we must now unite for the general election and for the task of bringing opportunity to all the people of Kwesimintsim. I promise that I will work tirelessly to unite our party, to be a representative for all of you and never to rest until all my promises are fulfilled.
