GhanaXtra.com can report authoritatively that the Presidency has rejected the resignation of National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah.

The embattled Minister according to this portal’s impeccable sources at the Presidency tendered in resignation on Monday 14th January 2019 to the office of the President.

The decision by the underfire public officer and experienced politician follows the release of a romantic video involving him and his Canada based side chic, Chantelle Kujawu.

But President Akufo-Addo according to the source after receiving the letter out-rightly rejected the resignation letter and ordered him to remain at post.

The source reveals that the decision by the president was taken in consultation with some senior members in his government and some top brass in the NPP.

The decision which was unanimous during the less than two hours meeting was taken in consideration of Kan Dapaah’s enviable public life over the years and his dedication to work.

The President we understand however in some strong words rebuked the Minister and cautioned him to be extra vigilant in future pursuant to the highest office he occupies.

The 2minutes 53seconds video has since generated divided opinions in the media landscape with many questioning the conduct and complicity of the Minister.
