Sharing his story with Wontumionline.com, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako stated that he has been tracking the activities of several members of the NDC and is reliably informed that the flagbearer of the party had met with some of his fellows to distract governance in Ghana.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi revealed that former President Mahama and his team had wanted to use the lockdown as a stepping stone to orchestrate the evil plan.
According to him, the decision by President Akufo-Addo to lift the partial lockdown was announced on time as “Mahama and his people were waiting for an extension to make Ghana ungovernable”.
He pointed out that Mr. John Mahama had arranged the plot with the National Chairman of the NDC, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo and the Member of Parliament for Notth Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
He further added that John Mahama was clamouring for an extension of the lockdown simply because he wanted to come back to power through an illegal means.
Chairman Wontumi explained that the Facebook post by Hon. Ablakwa was a clear indication that they were worried their action couldn’t be activated and how their internal plan got leaked.
Shortly after President Akufo-Addo announced he has lifted the lockdown, the MP for North Tongu expressed his frustration on his social media handle.
He went on to state that for Ghana, would witness an Arab spring if the country does not immediately usher in a new economic paradigm anchored on social justice and genuine empowerment of the masses.
Hon. Ablakwa was emphatic that “We should not think we are far from an Arab spring scenario if we do not immediately usher in a new economic paradigm anchored on social justice and genuine empowerment of the masses”.
Also, some months ago, the National Chairman for the NDC was arraigned before the Accra High Court over an alleged leaked audio, detailing strategies the NDC intends to use for the 2020 general election, one being the kidnappings of family members of political opponents.
Chairman Wontumi warned that he was going to handover his findings to the police and ensure that John Mahama, Okudzeto Ablakwa and Ofosu Ampofo are made to face the music.
