BREAKING THE EIGHT IS NOT POSSIBLE IF THE GRASSROOTS AND THE FOUNDATION OF THE NPP PARTY ARE BEEN NEGLECTED
The National youth organizer position in the great NPP party which is set to take place in next year 2022 has generated so many heat as to who should lead the youth front. It is very obvious that, all the aspirants who are seeking to lead the youth wing are one way or the other have something from the government with regards to portfolios yet, the grassroots are fambling and screening everywhere in the country. It is somehow fascinating that, those thriving to contest for the said position are been fueled by some unknown top hierarchies for their personal aggrandizement.
The New Patriotic party (NPP), Only came to power and limelight with the assistance of the bedrock or the foundation thus, party faithfuls, Grassroots, Sympathizers and the lovers of the party. Today, the foundation of the party is everywhere on the street screening and ranting bitterly for Jobs and some special skills and also initiatives that can aid them to realise their dreams and to sense the bright future. What the Grassroots anticipate for in the party is to have a helping hands to grab them from the mud and place them on the mountain.
Normally, the youth of the NPP party would just wake up and ask themselves questions as to why they are passing through hell whiles, they have a youth leader who they toiled their last blood and work assiduously for is not up and doing to rescue them but rather, respond to them as if the party is in opposition but, have been able to assist the party to capture political power and the foundation is still crawling on the floor and struggling to survive. Hmm! Is it going to continue like this forever? Now the party communication team, activist, and the leadership are preaching ‘ Breaking the eight 8 Jinx ‘, In every corner of the country.
Would they be able to achieve the said Jinx if not a mere hallucination ahead of 2024 without the youth specifically, the Grassroots involvement? Quite recently, the leadership of the party were touring around the country to solicit for the answers to the downfall of the party after the 2020 general elections. Majority of some of the MP’s lost their seats to their opponent and we are going to overlooked this without acknowledging our shortcomings ahead of 2024.
The time has come for the party to select a leader, who has passion and love for the party and not the one, who only thinks about his stomach and the side chicks but rather, thinks about the welfare and the well-being of the youth of this country. The party needs to opt for a well sounded personality, assiduous in his nature, smart at all times and diligent in revamping the lost hope and the symbol for the great NPP party.
JUST THINKING ALOUD AT MY CORNER
