7 MILLION NIGERIANS IN GHANA CLAIM BY ABLAKWA IS A HOAX!
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has stated that there are 7 million Nigerians resident in Ghana whereas Nigeria houses 2 million Ghanaians.
This 7 million Nigerians supposedly living in Ghana is not grounded in reality. Let’s do a simple analysis.
With an estimated population of 30 million, only Nigeria reduces it to 23 million people. Let’s assume that La Cote d’Ivoire and Togo our next door neighbours have 5 million people in the country, our population reduces further to 18 million.
Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger all have their citizens living in Ghana. Let’s estimate all of them, per the flawed analysis of Ablakwa, to have a population of 4 million, we would have a reduced population of 14 million.
Let’s look at other nationals of other countries. Subtracting their number from us would further bring our population down.
In effect, Ablakwa is saying that Ghana’s population hovers around 8 and 10 million.
This can only have a place in his warped mind. His 7 million Nigerians living in Ghana is nothing but a falsified statement thrown out there for reasons yet to be deciphered.
Without any empirical data, Ablakwa is spewing this lie to hyperbolize the impasse between Ghana and Nigeria as a result of recent happenings.
