The opposition NDC appears to have a frenziedly convulsive and sporadic detestation towards the construction of the National Cathedral.

Ever since His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo announced his well-intentioned decision to build the National Cathedral to glorify God, members of the NDC have, on several occasions, castigated the move.

They, first of all, employed the services of Kwabena Bomfeh who went to the Supreme Court challenging the decision, only for him to hit a snag as the Supreme Court determined his suit to be unmeritorious.

Another puppet in the person of Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, a known ally of the Mahama family and the opposition party, has also been sent to embark on a death-defying anti-Cathedral campaign.

In the video, Joyce holds a bowl and pretends to be soliciting funds to help build the cathedral which she ridicules in the video. She sardonically tells the unwilling donors Akufo-Addo wants to build a cathedral as the messiah to end all our challenges in the country.

The video of Dzidzor Mensah which has since gone viral is being circulated by elements within the opposition party. They are joyously propagating the video which seems to be in tandem with the reasons they espouse against the building of the edifice.

Central to their antipathetic tendencies towards the construction of the National Cathedral is the claim that God does not dwell in mansions or cathedrals and, therefore, building a National Cathedral for Him is a complete waste of resources.

Ironically, the very people preaching against the erecting of the Cathedral attend church services on Sundays in buildings, the very places God supposedly does not fancy dwelling.

The NDC is engaging in these anti-Christ tendencies to discourage the thousands of people who are willing to contribute to the building of the Cathedral.

They claim to be Christians, they claim to love God, His Son, Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, but deep in the hazy recesses of their hearts, they are but holy serpents walking among the children of God. The Cathedral will be constructed to glorify God!
