AKUFO-ADDO’S INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION SECOND TO NONE
President Akufo-Addo’s determination to change the country’s economic fortune and destiny to one of a success story has yielded fruits.
This determination hasn’t come without challenges. Within four years, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been able to revive Ghana’s comatose industrial sector.
Ghana, thanks to the resilience of the President, can boast of a number of automobile manufacturing plants engaged in the assembling of cars and trucks.
Nissan, SinoTruck, Volkswagen and recently added Toyota and Suzuki have all set up their assembling plants here producing cars and trucks for Ghana and the West African sub-region.
These developments have paved way for thousands of unemployed graduates and skilled hands to be employed in these industries.
Records show that Ghana is the first in the sub-region to have been able to bring these multinational conglomerates into West Africa to produce vehicles.
President Akufo-Addo, without doubt, has built more real industries than any other leader before him in the Four Republican Constitution.
