WHO IS EVELYN YAA FOBIAA BOADI ?

Madam Evelyn Yaa Fobiaa Boadi is a hard working and enthusiastic woman with tremendous experience in Local Government, Environment, Community mobilization,, Grassroots Politics Entrepreneurship, Education and Science.
Fobiaa was born in the 15th June 1972
After graduating from University of Cape Coast in 1998, she worked as a Teacher in Bechem (PRESEC) as a national service personnel.
She was posted to Tano District in 1998 to be the Coodinator/Resource Person for the Science, Technology and Maths (STME) Clinic for girls, which was sponsored by the Ghana Education Service.
In 1999, Fobiaa was enrolled in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, where she had her Masters in Environmental Science. After graduation, she was posted to Jaman North District Assembly and later to Assin South ,Sekyere West and South Districts Assemblies to help prepare organic home made liquid fertiliser to boost the agriculture activities in those farming communities.
Because of her affable nature and the desire to explore, this hardworking team leader was again selected to handle the following Districts: Assin South, Tarkwa and Tolon/Kumbungu. Her role again was to go and help the Assemblies in the management of pest and insects for sustainable livelihood.
Further, Madam Fobiaa was later posted to the Wassa West District Assembly due to her good performance in her previous postings to the District Assemblies. Her biggest contributions in these Districts included how Assemblies could revamp the utilisation of refuse dumbs and household generated waste in the Districts to improve their livelihoods.
She later became a Science Tutor in Kumasi High School, Asokwa, where she taught students Human Biology and Environmental Science.
She was the facilitator of African Youth Alliance (AYA) and among her responsibilities was to counsel students using the Life Planning Skills (LPS).
In 2000, she became the Questionnaire Developer for the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in the kumasi Field Office.
She became the Coordinator for the African Youth Alliance – Ghana/UNPAID Accra in 2003.
Madam Fobiaa was sponsored by IWMI to do her research work on the impact of pesticide on tomatoe production in Akumadan.
A year after, PERD consult hired her as a pamphlet developer.
Additional responsibilities were added which included training selected Communities/Districts through radio and community durbars in clean water and Communal Sanitation.

In 2005 she set up an Event Planning Company, Fobiaa Ventures (Flora and decoration) which has grown to the premier events Planning Company in Ashanti Region. Apart from her many prestigious corporate clients Fobiaa Floral is the choice of Manhyia Palace and Golden Bean Hotel in all their premium events.
In 2000 Madam Fobiaa worked with the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) as an Election Observer for Ashanti Region.
In the 2016 elections she was part of those who were appointed by the NPP Regional Campaign Team to collate the Ashanti Region Elections Results at Georgia Hotel.
Over the years she has provided both financial and material support to our campaigns. For example, she made available two of her own private cars, with drivers, to convey our elderly to various Polling Stations. As a Polling Station Executive she was an inspiration to many as she personally went door to door to campaign for the NPP and Nana Addo. She also possesses excellent analytical skills and is results oriented.
She is a very creative woman with class. Apart from being computer literate she is also a good communicator.
She is also a team player.
