“WE NEED OUR CERTIFICATES NOW!!!”

POLYTECHNIC GRADUATES CALL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF CERTIFICATES

We write with utter dissatisfaction the kind of treatments Polytechnic graduates had been subjected to in regards to the late release of certificates.

For the past years, fresh graduates of the various Technical Universities formerly Polytechnics had to wait a year after a successful completion of their polytechnic education before their graduation is done and their certificates released to them respectively.

It is totally absurd and a high class of ineptitude when Polytechnic students had been made to miss genuine opportunities including job offers and scholarships, Transcripts and attestations that are usually made available to us by the Polytechnic after immediate completion of school are not normally an acceptable document by many of these institutions.

We are really saddened about this trend where it takes a year or more before academic certificates are released to fresh graduates of the polytechnic, As a matter of fact, the 2015/2016 academic year group are yet to receive their certificates when in reality the 2016/2017 year group had successfully finished with their final exams.

We are therefore by this release intend to declare our dismay to this unacceptable act by the authorities and declare our inability to wait any longer and further plead with the authorities to put a stop to this misfortune where Polytechnic graduates are always disadvantaged, in the immediate pursuit of further education, Job offers, scholarships etc.

We are once again by this release, send signals to the Authorities to as a matter of urgency, do everything within their powers to release the certificates of the 2015/2016 graduates of the ten(10) polytechnics now technical universities by the end of June 2017 or we take any legal means to gain what is due us.

Thank you.

Signed……..
