IT IS THE TIME TO VOW OUT THE TRUTH – CHIEF TELLS PASTORS AND CHIEFS
The Apagyahene of Fanteakwa Tradional Area in the Eastern Region Nana Ofori Amoyaw has urged his fellow chiefs and pastors to let their peoples known the truth of Ghanaian Economy.
According to the chief, chiefs and pastors shouldn’t be partizan to politicise issues but rather embark on the fact for improvement and to maintain peace and unity on the lives of the people.
He said, sometimes you hear some of the chiefs and pastors saying they support a particular political party leader telling the peoples indirectly that they should vote that leader to office whiles they really know that is not helpful.
He said, if the chiefs and the pastors think they can’t come out with the facts, they should sit aside and allow the peoples to make their own choices rather than endorsing some political leaders who cannot solve the problems of the peoples.
According to the chief Nana Ofori Amoyaw, most of the chiefs and pastors make the endorsement in other to be awarded by the leaders.
He strengthened that some of the chiefs and the pastors doesn’t see the real hardship in the economy due to some revenue they earn from the citizens and the congregations but the ordinary Ghanaians are really suffering.
In a news conference at the Fanteakwa District Capital (Begoro), the interviewer Nana Adjei asked the chief how he personally sees the current economy of Ghana, the chief vividly said, there is a serious hardship in the country and if this is how it was at first, he shouldn’t have been grown to this age.
He therefore urged chiefs, pastors to preach the truth to their peoples to install standard life living in them.
