THE MINORITIES IN PARLIAMENT SHOULD BE SERIOUS ON PRESSING ISSUES IN THE COUNTRY;
MY TAKE ON THE FLAGSTAFF HOUSE/NIMA SAGA;
I have always been a critical observer, I have followed many parliamentary proceedings and debates across the world, and I have realized that Ghanaian minorities in Parliament have FLIPPANTLY been the most incompetent club masters in the world. In other words, I mean to put on record that they have become modern day Garrulities with less or no vision for the state. It is also to say that their presence in Parliament are becoming overtly immaterial to their constituents and the Taxpayers countrywide. Can’t they be serious for once? Don’t we have pressing issues to discuss? Should they politicize everything in the country? “OMG I can’t even think madness”.
On the Nima/Flagstaff house saga, I see a purposive attempt to politicize the issue which should virtually been an issue of taxpayers concerned, but no, the usual political Mavericks in Parliament (Minorities) have made the issue less relevant to the ordinary taxpayers including my grandmother.
From the onset, the settlers around the residence of the President of the Republic of Ghana knew overtly that they were living on someone’s Bona fide land, and for reasons in future, may be ask to relocate from that particular avenue. In this particular instance, the National Security upon their security findings have realized that the said avenue had since December, 7th 2016 become a security zone, hence the need to relocate those settlers around the President’s bona fide avenue. Should this call for the ongoing loquacious banter in the media? Smh
I heard these same minorities on a propaganda spree, that the President is sacking innocent settlers around his residence, and the action is in bad state and so distasteful. Like seriously? Have we reduced politics to this cheap propaganda? What sort of fictitious impression are they creating in the minds of objective foreign investors across the country? When will they be serious for them to be taken serious? Well, let me take the opportunity to remind these minorities that Ghanaians are not so dumb just as they think, they should be circumspect when dealing with issues of National concern because propaganda does not win elections. Prior to 2016 elections, they did same and it never went well with them, they are here again with same propaganda approach and I see them heading toward another defeat in 2020 because they are just not serious with issues but purely professional propagandists.
