SSNIT ‘blows’ GHC79 million on pocket dairies – Captain Smart

Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has reportedly spent a whopping GH¢79 million on pocket dairies in 2016.

SSNIT, which is struggling to pay workers’ pension allegedly used this whopping amount on dairies to be used in 2018.

Adom FM’s morning show host Captain Smart revealed this the flagship Fabewoso segment on the on Dwaso Nsem Monday.

He also disclosed that the state-owned pensions trust also doled out 477 million as loans to eight public and private companies and has been unable to collect the monies back.

To make the issue murkier, Captain revealed that SSNIT did not value the collateral presented by the companies for the loans.
