Mr. Abdullai Mohammed, the Chief of Muslims in the Ekye Zongo of the Kwahu Afram Plains South District in the Eastern Region has urdge Ghanaians to be grateful onto God for the peace Ghana is enjoying now.

He said, learning from what happened to the neighboring countries we have around us, we will be grateful onto the lord.

He said this on Friday July 1, 2016 at Ekye during a durbar organised by the Local Council of Churches in the Ekye township to preach peace before, during and after the 2016 polls.

According to Hon. William Hor, the Parliamentary Candidate of NPP in the Kwahu Afram Plains South Constituency  he stands for peace and edged the other political parties in the constituency to do same.

“I will preach peace during my campaign season and I urge all other parties to do same for Ghana to keep the peace we have now” he said.
According to Rev. Obed Nii, the programme won’t end here but will see others following soon with the aim of preaching peace to Ghanaians

The programme was attended by Chief Inspector Ankoma (representative of the District Police Commander ), Hon. Ibrahim Issaka(DCE), Hon. Willie Hor (NPP – PC), Nana Osei Yaw (Chief of Ekye), all head pastors of the Local Council of Churches among others.
