I was listening to ‘newsnight’ on joy-fm while on my way home this evening and Kofi Adams was called to share his opinion on the latest CDD survey which gives ndc 22% and NPP 45% of valid votes cast, if elections were held tomorrow: and his response was “we have long severed relations with CDD so this doesn’t bother us”
The survey, again, said 18% of respondents said they can easily associate with ndc, while 38% routed for NPP: and to this, Kofi Adams said “this indeed tells you that CDD selected predominantly NPP sympathizers for the survey so this is a sham since Ghanaians are suffering and will therefore vote, massively, for ndc if elections were held tomorrow”.
1. CDD is a non-governmental policy think-tank which does it’s work completely independent of relationship with any political party so to claim that “ndc has severed relations with CDD” clearly points to the fact that Kofi Adams is a crass ignoramus in workings of such policy think-tanks.
2. On the question of respondents captured in the CDD survey being predominantly NPP sympathizers because majority had favourable picture of NPP, also clearly cements the fact that, indeed, Kofi Adams simply lacks the intellectual capacity to comprehend even the elementary dynamics of surveys.
