It’s too early to criticise Akufo-Addo – Rev. Owusu Bempah

Leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International (GWPMI) Prophet Owusu Bempah has said it is too early to criticise President Akufo-Addo.

According to him, given how the erstwhile Mahama administration destroyed the economy, the President needs time to correct the errors to restore Ghana’s past glory.

The man of God could not fathom why members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are bent on frustrating the Akufo-Addo led government just ten months in power.

“Nana Addo is just one year in office; why won’t people have patience? I still think he is planning for the country. I am not doing politics [but I think] the heart he has for this nation, if we will be calm, everything will be okay. We should be patient. I believe in Nana Addo and I know he will move Ghana forward” he stated in an interview on Accra-based Okay FM Monday.

Prophet Owusu Bempah also cautioned members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who are sabotaging government because they have not gotten any appointment.

He stressed that President Akufo-Addo is serving Ghana not party thus should rather support him to work.

“Nana Addo doesn’t want his ministers to buy big cars. He hates corruption. All those who want appointments should relax. He came for all. Not only NPP. It is God who chose him. I think it’s too early to criticize. He is working to stabilize the economy for the country to prosper…” he said.
